This is something I taught my kids when they were little....
Start out saying OR thinking #3 #3 #3.....
Get to 1 and then go to the 10 to 1 count down.
Where the blue lines are, breathe out and picture
yourself on an elevator that is going
down....
SLOWLY
count down from …...
10 – 9 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 –
3 – 2 – 1
“Deeper healthy level”
Now
take the elevator lower....
Breathe again......
….feeling your body relax as you...
~Go To Level~
Do this often enough and OVER time.... you can just tell
yourself... 'Go to level' and you feel more relaxed.
SO much of our lives are not totally in our control...
what IS IN OUR control is how we choose to respond.
