~ Friend – Ship ~

Twenty years ago there is no way anyone could have
conceived of the world that has been created all thanks
to the world wide web.  The idea of people meeting
through an electronic medium and then developing
deep friendships would have been the stuff of science fiction.
Yet through the WWW we have come to know ….
“It’s a small world after all”.

In all parts of life, the kind where you share
air space and the kind where you share the written word

it all evolves in the same way….
You meet and share common ground.
Trust grows and you become friends.

Friends don’t flatter you with unnecessary bull shit, they do so
because they see the magic and potential inside of you.
Sometimes you don’t even SEE the beauty that they do.
A friend reads between your lines.

“A deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude towards
a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition of attractive
qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.”

That is the definition of love, but it could also be related to
a friend.

~ Friend – Ship ~ is a boat that floats when tended with love.

I love you my kindred friends and I thank you for your ~ Friend – Ship ~.

Debra is more than a ship called a friend. She's a lifesaver who freely gives to strangers the encouragement and strength to continue when you feel like letting go. I admire her for not giving up on her friends and being there when we call out for help. Thank you so much for opening your heart and soul to those with no hope.
